I am a person who enjoys structuring, organising, problem solving and being pragmatic. These are the aspects which drove me to my career in project delivery. From my college years I knew I wanted to work in a project-based environment, as I thrive on working with the different challenges and problems.
I enjoy working in environments where I can solve complex issues, I am particularly skilled in the initiation and co-ordination of new change initiatives or off-track project deliveries to achieve successful project delivery.
This led me to a successful 20 years of building a career in project delivery, starting as a Business Analyst progressing up to Programme Management level. Over the decades I have worked on and delivered over 30 projects, ranging from business process changes, software implementation to a complete overhaul of a department’s operations, tools, processes, and structure. I have worked on projects from inception through to implementation, giving me experience, skills, and knowledge of the complete lifecycle.
With my years of experience, knowledge and training I am offering my services directly to companies for their specific project needs, supporting where needed to deliver their project or change initiatives.
In addition to project delivery services, I offer business operations consultancy supporting businesses in creating efficiencies and cost reductions. I work with companies to establish, review, evaluate and improve operations, such as people, processes, tools, and templates. My attention to detail, problem solving and communication skills, allow me to objectively evaluate current state of play and define improved ways of working.
In addition to my consultancy services, in 2018 I started my own entrepreneurial journey. I launched UK’s first frozen halal ready meal service delivering meals directly to customers door. After experiencing the gap in the market for convenient tasty halal meals, I started working on the idea and launched the business in early 2019.
Outside of my business interests, I have a strong passion in helping the youth find their way and build a better future for themselves. To support this, I have delivered motivational talks in school and in late 2020 I was invited to join the board of trustees at YREN, which is focussed on supporting and building youth networks and organisations.
